Hi fellow listees: My local mechanic, who shall remain unnamed, feels that my throttle body needs replacement, and that will solve the low speed surging problem. Why would this be so? What wears out on a throttle body and how does it affect the running characteristics? Since I forgot last time, my big, beautiful brick is an 84 Westy with the 1.9L Digijet. By the way, does anyone have reccomendations for a good mechanic in Tucson? John Tucson, AZ |
