VW only put one on the driver's side to save money. Only the Germans would engineer a mud flap to end up costing $80 or more, and it doesn't even last! It is there to protect the propane tank, not the car, and I am sure some American spec required it or it wouldn't be there at all. Ron has left side OE flaps for $80, but awhile back he did mention he had a set of four for a pretty good price, but that is not on his site. I think the syncros came with four. I have already replaced mine with one from a junkyard, and it has split and fallen off too. If I were you I would just go to your FLAPS and get some fender mounted heavy duty vinyl truck flaps.
