All westys w/ propane tanks have the left front mudflap standard, to protect the propane tank from rocks. Any other mudflap was optional, and about $80 each, so nobody ever opted for them. Why so expensive? they're actually made of rubber from a rare, now extinct South American tree found in a remote area of a rainforest in Brazil. And synonymous with other parts from VW-Brazil, the quality is very high...... ;<)
