It's definitely normal... a significant amount of amp draw on a battery will drop the measured voltage... the led lights measure voltage. On a fully charged battery when you turn on the fridge (engine not running) the led lights will switch from green to yellow in a short time.... if you then turn off the fridge, right after it switching to yellow, you will notice the led switch back to green as the voltage pops back up after removing the amp draw of the fridge.
