Personally I like the weekender version more than the full blown camper. 4wd would make it even better.

As near as I can remember, the Wolfsburg deleted cruise control, added badging, and lowered the suspension a bit. I'm sure someone else on the list would be much more knowledgeable than I me. GL seemed to denote a myriad of things, like power options, alloy wheels, cruise control -- all I could ever figure was that it meant it wasn't a stripper.
