Subject: Subaru conversion
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Hello I lost the engine in my daily driver as a result of throwing a rod through the case. I now have two '87s with bad engines. I am considering doing the Subaru conversion but would like to get more information before I take the plunge. I have already received literature from Kennedy Engineering.

I would appreciate any suggestions or comments from those who have investigated or performed the conversion. Ideally I would like to see and ride in a Vanaru to see how it all fits and works. If there are any list members in the Boston area who have performed the conversion, I would appreciate being able to look at your van.

I contacted a local junk yard who quoted me $800 for an engine with the harness and ECU. The engine is in a '95 Legacy with 71K miles on it. They offer a 1 year warranty on the engine.

Please p-mail me

Gary
