I happen to know that all of the new body style Jetta's are 5 lug. Their wheels won't fit the vanagon though. The Jetta, Golf and New Beetle are all built on the same platform. I remember reading that the Cabrio won't be switched to this platform until 2001 or 2002.

anyone know if the '99 up jettas are still 4 lug, or are they 5 lug now? how about the '99 up Golfs? i saw a '00 Cabrio, and it was still 4 lug.. anyone know?? TIA chris
