Subject: Oil in air intake

I recently found oil inside the air intake system of my 84 1.9L leaker. It was a lite coating everywhere except in the air filter box, including the oil crankcase breather tube. What would cause this and should I be concerned?

I just purchase the van and know little of its history.

TIA,

Steve
