Subject: Re: Luggage Rack Noise
Content-Type: text/plain

I too had the dreaded luggage rack hum. The faster you go, the louder it got. I Had replaced the worn out OEM rubber seal with one I purchased from the Bus Depot. The price was good and the quality was great. But the OEM had a second part on the back side that sealed the rack. The after market did not. I removed the rack and put down some 1/2" wide one side sticky 3/16ths" rubber wheather stripping on the roof where the new rubber seal would/should make contact. Great, no more Hum. It has been good for 3 months now. Jeff Klender
