Idiots shouldn't own a Vanagon! ;-)

Seriously, the closest idiot guide available is the Haynes manual
published in Britain.  Bus Depot has them, http://busdepot.com.  You
also really need the Bentley too.  Forget about using any info for the
air cooled, it will just confuse the issue, completely different animals
despite the waterboxer being an offshoot of the aircooled design.
