The 4th generation are 5 lugged, but the '00 Cab is still a 3rd generation vehicle. It is referred to as the Golf 3,5 Cab here, opposed to Golf 3 and Golf 4 generations.

The circle on the 4th generation Golf and Jetta vehicles are 5x100, and not the same as the Passat, Audi and our favourite van.
