While the Muir aircooled Idiot's Guide doesn't cover the waterboxer, I don't think it's a complete waste of time for Vanagon owners, particularly if you're a newbie to cars. The ink sketches are useful, some of the non-standard tips are useful, and you get a good overview of how a Beetle or Bus is put together (i.e. "How works your Volkswagen").

Besides that, it's filled with amusing anecdotes...like what you should do with your significant other in the back of a bus when waiting for something to cool down. ;-)
