i too, have this setup im installing in my '84 wolfy 7pass . the interior is from a 87 wolfy ..the carat style..interior. i cut the plates off the floor of the donor van, but have decided that i prolly wont use them.. it just makes the installation all the more difficult. as far as safety, these floor plates dont do anything. if you are in an accident, anyone riding in these jumpseats is gonna get tossed around anyway.. and if it's a front end collision - they will get some serious neck whiplash seeing as how most of these seats dont have headrests.. if youre concerned about safety, i could sit in one of the other seats.. chris
