I'm not sure I agree Brent (there are lots of reasons that people don't vote in american politics) but, I did vote. I think it is fun to participate in these types of things. Its necessary to show support of others time and effort. One thing that surprises me is the "filters" talk that goes on. I have no filters running and I try to read everyone's mail. I find it refreshing and VERY interesting to hear (and observe) opinions on all the different subjects (and sometimes emotional responses, good and bad). It is ideal for learning a little about people. It also reminds me that individual thought is everywhere. Of course I guess I do have one filter, and that is the subject line. I read it and decide if I want to open it or not. Like everyone else I only have so much time in the day.
