Dear Listmembers: I have one Platinum Cat 6P12 6,000 BTU catalytic heater for sale. Price$350.00 which includes shipping. At this price a real bargain, as new they are over $600.00 and currently unobtainable new.

It's in like new condition. Operation is fully automatic with a wall thermostat-just set the desired temp and it does the rest. Runs on propane, uses 5 amps to start for two minutes and then . 05 amp after 2 min. I have tested it, and is functionally and cosmetically perfect. It vents combustion by-products (carbon dioxide and water vapor) to the outside. This has an advantage over the non-vented types and interior condensation is eliminated

Non-vented types condense 3-4gallons of water per hour. The vented type provides 3-4 complete interior air changes per hour, keeping you dry and warm.

A listmember in Canada in who's Westy I installed the 6P12 reported never a cold moment in his 84 Westfalia at 4 degrees below zero (20 cel) this winter.

Please p-mail me for further info. Thanks.

Robert Keezer
