I installed an Optima under the drivers seat - used stock wiring,
replaced the stock relay with 50 amp one, but fused the circuit to the
main battery at 30 amps for safety (elected not to replace wiring at that
time because of time constraints.)<br>

History is that the fuse has blown several times after the Optima was
fully discharged, but replacing the fuse always allowed it to get
recharged. <br>
I recently replaced the fuse with a 25 amp mini circuit breaker
(self-resetting).&nbsp;&nbsp; <br>
