Hello o helpful Vanagon gurus,

I looked on the archives for some help but the 1.9 runability issues are numerous, to be grossly understated.

I drove 90 miles on I-5 yesterday (Bellingham to Seattle). My '85 Westy did great except for when I got off of the freeway and was at lower rpms the motor was running as if on 3 cylinders or maybe not enough fuel. I limped to my destination and was inside for a good hour. When I came out and started up again she ran great again. I then drove back to B'ham and had the same experience upon arriving home. I've seen some recent talk about fuel systems. Is this my problem?

Thanks in advance Cheers, Brandt '85 Westy "Lucy"
