I have a 1987 Vanagon GL 2.1 litre that has too many miles on its rebuilt once transmission. I also have an 1985 1.9 litre. I know the transmission changed, but it possible to swap the 091 transmission from the '85 into my '87 with the 091/1 (I think I'm getting that right) until I get enough money for the rebuild? I know the gear ratio's are different, but can this cause a big problem? Thank You, Vern Moen brin@mac.com
