Subject: Oil pressure wire rubbed bare?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Has anyone had their oil pressure light start to blink due to the sending unit wire rubbing through the insulation to bare wire? On my 1984 GL, the insulation is worn down to bare wire where it goes under the heat shielding covering the push rod tubes. Does anyone have any ideas on how to reinsulate the wiring? Is there a way to reroute the wire so it won't rub? I patched it up with electrical tape for a temporary fix, but want to patch it up with something a bit more durable. Thanks! Scott Maurer (Boise)
