I have a great idea.

Let's keep this list for what it is great for. That is, technical
questions AND ANSWERS about vanagons. I love seeing someone answer my
own or someone else's questions rather than just telling them to spend
an hour on the archives. THAT is the reason for the list. I find it
amazing that there are that many people out there that are obsessed with
the same love able yet sometimes frustrating experiences that our
vanagons provide us.

The whole "sticker debacle" was a great idea, but we were just
overwhelmed by the amount of correspondence about them. I think that
whomever had the great idea for stickers should just decide on one of
the entries and then ask how many listees would buy them. I'll take one.
We all know that there will be some great entries that won't be picked
so just decide on one. I guess that is the problem with a true democracy
and why it will never work. Decisions will never get made. There is only
so much time in the day. Especially for a vanagon fanatic. Face it. You
love your VW. That's why you're reading this. So let's help each other
out and have fun driving. HERE COMES SUMMER!

Oh yeah. If anyone is going to be traveling in the real northwest drop
me a note. I'm in Bellingham, WA. It's between Seattle and Vancouver,
B.C. Right next to the beautiful San Juan Islands.
