Found both my brown oil pressure wire and the green vdo wire to the external op sender all but fried when I went to replace the oil cooler o ring gasket. wires must blow around when going down the highway and get on the exhaust manifold. I routed my replacement wires up through the valve cover bail and zip tied it there and taped the pair to the skinny water hose(90 GL) that runs to the small plastic tubing around the engine compartment. I think the wire would be okay if it didn't contact the manifold. I was down to the copper for over an inch.
