Fellow Vanagonites, I discovered a place today, that may help out a few of you with CV joints on he way out. They rebuild axles, with new joints and boots for $95.00 per side--exchange. The best part is is that it's a block from my shop, and I didn't even know it! A buddy of mine told me about the place, and I went to investigate. I asked what kind of joints they were using,Korean? And their reply was absolutely not, and there is a lifetime guarantee that goes with them! Well guess what, I've been needing CV's since last Nov., this weekend they all get changed. And then I was at my local VW dealer later in the day and asked them about CV's. I know the parts Mgr. and he told me about this very place! They send their shafts there to get rebuilt, and tack on the VW profit! Anyway the place's name is; Herr Automotive 1064 Republic Dr. Addison IL. 630-543-1400 "Happy Trails to you" Terry 85 GL
