Has anyone thought about or actually mounted aux. gauges up by the rear view mirror, on the ceiling of the cockpit? I saw an interior photo of a bus on eBay that has the a/c vents up above the rear view mirror and it looks like the visors are mounted under the a/c vents. So this made me wonder has anyone without the overhead a/c put a shelf up there like some American pick ups have as an aftermarket set up? Is there really any usable space up there? And again, back to the gauges---do you think a gauge pod could be mounted up there, or is the whole idea just too stupid? ie. lights in the guages at night would be too distracting or whatever.
