People give me toy VW vans, and I have a couple on one of my pc towers at work. Today, I had a pc problem and the tech who came up to work on it saw the vans. Her eyes lit up as she told me about her camping trip at Blue Rocks (PA) campground last October. She said there was a group of Westphalias camping there, and it was so cool seeing "hundreds" of them together like that. I told her a little about the list and some of the other outings I'm aware of. She was very interested, and almost a little too excited about it all, but she did a thorough job fixing my pc, which is usually not the case. I know there was a recent posting about this event, but I deleted it because I don't have a Westie, rarely camp, and work weekends. But, I thought I'd share this with you all! By the way, I notice a number of you have a little Vanagon graphic in your signature field, and I love it! I'd like to copy it and use it, but felt I should ask permission first. Any objections? Thanks, -Lauren |
