Hello all, The steering on my '85 feels a bit vague. I've gone underneath while my son moves the steering wheel back and forth an inch or two. It seems that the tie rods at first move toward the front and back of the van, instead of moving in and out (which would move the wheels). My front end guy says that power steering is inherently less precise than non-power (my '84 is rock solid and goes exactly where I point it). I can accept this, but I think the '85 has gotten noticeably less precise over the last year or two. I'm taking the van in tomorrow for him to look at, and wanted to get a couple opinions before I go in. Karl Wolz |
