Hello all, I am considering the purchase of a Westy in FL.. I live in TN.. and i am not sure the engine will make the trip. I would like the lists collective wisdom on the purchase. The van is an 84 with 150k, and a pretty mean dent on the drivers side(under the water connections). The seller is a dealer(makes me very worried), but he has come off the price and offered to "assist" in shipping the van. He originally wanted 2900, but has now agreed to 1750 and split the cost of shipping. I realize this is not a rational decision, so I need your input. Please let me know what you think about this situation. I sincerely appreciate your time. Rex Hargrove 84 Vanagon GL 72 Campmobile P.S. Does anyone know the cost of shipping a van 688 miles(or around that), or have alternative suggestions? ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com |
