I forgot to add one detail...

I have the Wolfsburg edition, it has good sound proofing. It has carpet and a bed cushion over the engine compartment. I thought that is one of the reasons why I barely hear any engine noise while driving, But after driving around with only the engine cover and NO carpet or cushion, it STILL is quiet while driving at 70 mph. I only hear the whine of the power steering past 3800 RPMs (sounds like a turbo). The muffler is a Dynomax Super Turbo with a Monza single resonator tip.

The counterweighted crank, balancing and muffler plus it is a flat four, makes it quiet.

I have hear a lot about the noisy exhaust that the inlines use (Having less back pressure does not make more power only loses low end power)
