The Old Town "Otter" is plastic, appox. 112" in length and 27" in width at the widest point. It is a very basic boat most suitable for calm water I would say. The hull shape is more of a gentle curve without any "V" shape save for at the bow and stern. It appears to be a very stable design.

When bringing it home we inverted it and placed the cockpit area, the outline of which is very long and broad compared to others, on top of the Thule cross bars on Anne's Jetta. We lashed the boat to the cross bars and added bow and stern lines to the respective Jetta tow hooks.

Thanks,

Tony
