Lot of folks talking about purchasing a "junk yard" alternator----Not!! What do you buy at a junk yard?--Junk!! Just as the name implies. Been there, seen it, done it, and have been very mad, & frustrated. You are so much better off purchasing a remanufactered, ( not rebuilt) electrical part, and get the job done one time. There is nothing that really aggravates me more than do the same job twice, just because I thought I was going to save a couple of bucks, and wind up with a part, no better than what I took off to start with!
