to access the archives... you can go to www.vanagon.com and click through
to the archives search page... but that is really slow. you may want to do
it via email.  It goes like this: send an email to
listserv@gerry.vanagon.com with any subject and the body of the letter in
this format:
search luggage and bags in vanagon
end

where you are searching for luggage and bags.  Gerry will then send you
a two letters- one that it has your results and second the post #s for the
posts and short description of each post (first few lines of the post i
think).  The letter will then tell you how to emial Gerry once again to
get the full posts. This is a great thing to do when you are trying to get
'real' work done and don't have the time to sit and wait for gerry to
search for you via the web.
