Tom -- Here is info from my Bentley..... see below Glenn ======================================== Date: Thu, 6 Apr 2000 12:46:48 -0400 From: "Carrington, Tom" <TCarrington@RELITECH.COM> Subject: Torque specs please! I'm in the process of replacing the clutch in my '85 crew cab this week. My Bentley is still at the old house someplace (still haven't moved everything yet), so I was hoping somebody could look up the following torque specs and post them to the list.
--------Bentl ey VV91------- Bolts, flywheel to crankshaft. (guess 85ft-lb)... 44 ft-lb + 90° added* Bolts, pressure plate to flywheel (guess 22ft-lb)...... 18 ft-lb Bolts, CV-Joint to drive flange (guess 31ft-lb).......... 33 ft-lb *Note that at bottom this page only, my Bentley says watercooled 86-up; I do not find tightening info anyplace else for this item. |
