Problem with my old, sold, 83.5 waterboxer: After it has been running, if it stalls or is shut off, it often will not restart for quite some time. Unplugging the ECU sometimes helps. Letting it sit for a couple of hours always helps. It also will loose power when going uphill, eventually dieing completely, only restarting after sitting for a while. Other symptoms include running rich. Coolant temperature sensor, fuel pump, and ECU have all been changed at one time or another, with some improvements each time, but eventually the vehicle reverts to the same old problems. Anyone with any ideas, please respond off the list to: ddffpc@home.com Thank You Dan |
