Hmmm,whilst I don't have armrests on the front seats (only on the doors) I do have headrests however I have no trouble turning the drivers seat all the way around. I release the mechanism,turn the seat 90deg (headrest towards driver's window) slide the seat all the way forward and it spins around the rest of the way clearing the steering wheel with ease. My swivel seat mechanisms are German supplied by Oettinger and there is nothing flawed with the design.Are the Westfalia ones different perchance? I'm curious... Steve O.
