        Anyone know of a place to rent a fully-outfitted Westie in the
Pacific
        Northwest?  We're trying to plan a week up there this summer & would
like
        to go up into Vancouver & the Canadian Rockies.

Vans are pretty common here but I don't know about places where you can rent
them. I think there was a firm in CA that did though. Westies are in HIGH
demand up here. You might consider finding one down south, doing your trip,
then selling it here. It might pay for the whole trip. We have a local VW
dealer who gets nice vans from Florida and CA and then resells them at top
dollar (i.e. '87 Westie with 30,000 miles for $18K).

                Also, anyone have any recommendations/opinions about where
we should
                definitely go or not go etc. would be greatly appreciated.

If you are in the area, a trip to the Olympic Peninsula is a must --
beautiful rain forest and windswept beaches full of tide pools. You could
then take the ferry over to Victoria on Vancouver island explore around a
bit, then hit the San Juan or Gulf Islands on your way up north.
