It is indeed. My company does the VW dealer sites, (we also do Saab dealer sites) but manufacturer sites are always designed and hosted by the mega-ad agencies that the manufacturers pay mega-bucks to for their Web and other media services. Remember, ego and image are often more important here than usability! We try to design usability into our dealer sites, but sometimes we must follow a model dictated by the manufacturer's ad agency.
