I saw this exact problem and cause last week on another list members 83 Westy. This wire was kinda short and was the first one to be under tension when the fuse panel was unscrewed from the body. The wire is a 20 gauge grey w/red stripe and belongs on the back of fuse position 2. Mark << "BINGO Charlie!!!", as the late great Bear Bryant would say. Thanks Mark and thanks to everyone else who responded with suggestions. The problem was exactly as Mark described. I don't know where in the world you are located Mark but if you are coming to Everybus in NC this month our place (www.ncdragonfly.com) is only about 20 miles or so, drop by and have a cold one or twelve. Thanks again! David Higginbotham 82 Westfalia Silk Hope, NC |
