With all the talk about tires, anyone out there with performance tires that can make a recommendation. Perhaps at least what NOT to buy. I will need 16" tires. I'm currently running 215/70/14 on my stock alloys. I took a look at the Miata tire calculator mentioned on the list here http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html and entered a few combinations in 225, 235, 245's in the bottom portion of the page. The 225/55/16 seems to reduce my current diameter by .4%; 235/55/16 increases tire size to 1.3%. 245/55/16 to 2.9%. I've got my eyes on those 235's. Hmmmm. Hydroplaning is a concern. I also found a door extension on Projektzwo site for extending the sliding door out farther away from the body (more wheel clearance). I was ready to make one if I had to. Anyone out there purchased, seen or use this? I will check load ratings and so on mentioned on the list. Tire info here has been very helpful.
