So I still have no spark. I tested for voltage at the Hall unit connector as directed. 10.5 volts, fine. I tested for fluctuating voltage between the center connector (backprobed) of the Hall unit and postive on the coil. Didn't seem to have any. So I put on a used distributor. Now it has voltage, but still no spark. Probably it is the same as the first distributor, and I just didn't probe deep enough the first time. Bottom line, no spark, no start, and all I did was change the distributor cap. Dan Fleming |
