Subject: Problem with insturment pannel

I am having a problem with the instrument panel in our '85 Westie. The card connector to the panel seems very corroded. Every time I open up the panel and take it out to get to the area behind it, after I put it back together I always have some gauges and lights that don't work. I then need to remove the connector and clean up the connection to get it to work right again. Anyone have some ideas on what to clean this connector with? It seems to be coated with a white powder on the female end and green stuff on the male end.

Thanks

Scott Semyan '85 Westie Seattle
