I resurrected about a half dozen VDO odometers.  Forget the Crazy Glue and
hang up your syringe of Devcon MVP Type 33: using adhesive makes it all that
much harder to roll back the odometer whenever you go to sell your jewel.
The trick is to restore the force fit between the pinion and the shaft.
