Subject: shocks
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

My experience with new shocks.... I Just had KYB installed on my westfalia 1991 (gas adjust at the back and GR2 at the front) and since then, the front wheels (I can't hear the rear ones) are very noisy. Big holes are not a problem. The problem is with bumps. The noise is especially heard when bumps are in a row. The noise is like metal against metal but subtle. I went back to my installor who test-drived it and then changed the left side arm bushings. It improved a lot this cheap noise but it is still there, and still coming from both sides. He also said shocks cannot be adjusted, you install it , that's all. What could be wrong with my suspension as everything else seems to be OK. Sometimes I wish I had the OEM installed.

Any ideas somebody? Thanks Alain Vancouver,BC
