My cat was gutted some time ago, and I've passed Arizona's relatively stringent emissions test (same as California's as I recall). I've also heard (on the evening news) that although cats do remove NOx, they replace with sulphur dioxide, which is/may be worse.

Bottom line on this is . . . Oh hell, I don't even begin to know what the bottom line is. Probably we should all drive less, or maybe not at all.

NO, I DON'T WANT TO START A THREAD ON HORSES.
