Subject: Large Wire from Battery to Starter
Content-type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Does the large wire that runs from the battery to the starter have a fusible link built into it, or is it just large gauge copper wire? I am thinking about moving my primary battery under the rear seat for several reasons--closer to the starter, easier access for jumping to other vehicles, unlimited room for larger capacity battery... I don't want to cut up the original wiring if at all possible. I would like to run a new wire to the starter from the rear seat and use the old wire to feed the original harness to the front. I may eventually use the stock battery location for an auxillary battery. Is there a fusible link in this stock wire?
