I don't know if there is a fuseable link here or not, but I doubt it.

However, I would encourage you not to do this for several reasons.

1. You don't need a larger battery for starting, the stock battery is more than adequate 2. you will have to securely fasten the battery down and protect it from shorting out by covering it and protecting the wiring. 3. You lose a big part of the largest storage compartment in the Westy. 4. The rear under seat compartment is not ventilated, and you could accumulate explosive hydrogen gas with very bad consequences. 5. You will lower the resale value of your van.

Stick a sealed Optima battery under the driver's seat and forget about moving the main battery from its vented compartment. My $.02, it is your decision.
