Subject: Westy Engine Swap questions 1.9L to a 2.1L
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

I have an 85 Westy Full camper (automatic) with a 1.9, runs ok, would like to drop the 2.1 that is in my 87 Wolfsburg westy weekender(5 speed trans). It is rebuilt, runs excellent and would replace the older drivetrain. Questions- 1) Is it a direct swap(I am assuming it is-but want to make sure) ?? 2) besides a main seal, what other parts does the list recommend replacing when performing the swap? all help will be much appreciated! Thanks!! Nick Meyers
