Out of curiosity, what is so darn special about these tires? 14" tires are dime a dozen (almost literally!). If you want more rigid tires, why not go with something more performance oriented (which typically has firmer sidewalls)?

Just curious. I don't know, that's why I'm asking. I don't own one, I'm just the guy whose friend just bought a nice '86 GL in good condition.
