Hello List People,

I know alot of you are sick of old posts but i searched the archives and it mentioned MXT's, but are these still out there and are there alternatives? I would like to gather as much info as i can. I am on the Jersey Shore, which experiences every weather condition out there and then throw in the salt air to boot! My Vanagon is an 87 Wolfsburg Edition w/ auto. trans. and i think the factory tire size for this model is 205/70/14, if that helps. I want a tire for all conditions and the correct ply yada-yada-yada. My tires currently on there have dry, cracking sidewalls. So, i will be buying two pair. Any suggestions? In a Vanagon related matter, I have finally picked up a used Bentley manual and it should be in my possession by next week!

Thanks in advance,

Paul Bucco ibuyvws@aol.com
