Hello all from Germany, <color><param>FF00,0000,0000</param>

</color>I just joined the list. I live on the eastern side of the Ruhr-area and own an Vanagon (T3) since november 1987.

This model is an Multivan, and I think, that's just the model you call weekender. It has a folding-bench in the rear, a seat behind the driver-seat and a 12 Volt cooling-box behind the passenger seat.

For this model, there was a pop top available, but had to order separate. All Multivans as well the Vanagon-campers were built by Westfalia in Rheda-Wiedenbrueck (and I think, that's what you call Westy).

And now, something, where I'm looking for:

1. I have on my vanagon the acrylic door visors, but they are just in the height of my eyes. And that's not really good, the view through the visors is not very good.

On my former two Chevy/GMC fulsize-vans I had stainless steal visors, and I like them more. But until now, I couldn't find them for my Vanagon.

Is there someone out, who has figured out, which available stainless steal visor fit to the door-windows of a Vanagon?

2. Here in Germany are some sunvisors for the windshield available, but only acrylic-versions with an aluminium frame and brackets. They don't look really good in my opinion. Also, I would get problems with our semi-annual- technical-checkup called TUEV, I'm interested in an sunvisor like that visors, which can be found on pickups or vans.

Is such an visor somewhere available?

Any answer is really appreciated.
