Subject: no low fan speed
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

It appears that both my vans after a long winter of not needing fan operation have cooked the resistor. High speed fan came on, and one van sounded as if the blade was hitting something. I could not find anything in the path or evidence of it hitting something.

Is it possible the end play is too excessive on the motor? In other words, its worn out and the cause of the resistor to be cooked?

Also is there a vendor on the list that has the resistor?

Thanks Rob
