I recently put this configuration on my '83 Westy and it has greatly improved handling. The back is stiff for the heavy Westy rear end and the front (gr2's) seem to be a bit softer. For $26 a pop they were a deal. A few weeks after installation I put on new reinforced sidewall tires (Yokohama's) and this really improved my crosswind stability. The PO had on a mixed bag of 185/14's. They are not 6-ply but have plenty of tread left if any one is interested in them.

Nate
